![]() ![]() But in GDISK or ghost itself it shows the NEW partition layout that it should have! I know this becuase if I run something like partition manager, or gparted, it still shows the ORIGINAL partition set up. However on these new machines the ghost session runs fine, but once completed the machine does not boot up (just get a letter J and a cursor).Īfter a lot of messing around I've realised that Ghost isn't changing the original MBR, instead its making a new one somewhere else. ![]() This image works fine as it's been used many times on other machines. ![]() The sysprep imge contains a C: and D: partition. For this I use a bootable USB stick with ghost 11.5 They come with windows7 and are being downgraded to XP using a sysprep image. We recently have had some new machines we are trying to ghost. ![]()
